November is an exciting month this year – both for the WordPress community and consumers in general. First off, in the next couple of weeks, we’re expecting to see the full release of WordPress 5.0, the version that will include the Gutenberg editor. For those unaware, the Gutenberg editor will replace the current default editor in the WP-Admin and will shift more toward customization, visual editing, and drag-and-drop elements.
While offering greater ease-of-use for those less familiar with WordPress, it also means users will no longer need to seek out plugins to add this kind of functionality. Ultimately, the changes Gutenberg will bring means greater unity between the front-end and back-end. There is currently a Gutenberg beta available right now. Simply go to your WP-Admin to try it out!
